New Spec C GP Edition Celebrates success
Work has begun on our new 2007 GP Edition Spec C. It is designed to celebrate our race success throughout 2006 and this year also sees Litchfield importing cars for 10 years. To mark this significant milestone the new GP Edition will feature heavily discounted parts to produce the ultimate driver focused Impreza.
Taking its lead from the concept shown in Subaru’s impressive Type RA-R special edition (now sold out) the new GP edition will feature a large number of specialist performance extras from STI mated to our own parts forged in competition success.
To highlight the fact that we can offer both MY07 and older MY06 Spec Cs direct from Japan we will be offering the GP package on both, significantly broadening the price range.
A car and parts are in a container bound for Tewkesbury at this moment and we hope to have the demonstrator on the road during April. Just in time for our next Nurburgring trip!
Full specifications and prices will be released shortly.
Race Car makes an impression on Japaneses Performance Magazine
This month see the race Type-25 featuring on the front cover of the latest Japanese Performance magazine (April issue). Inside they have written a detailed 8 page article on the cars history, success and got to sample it’s incredible performance around the Llandow race circuit. There is also a fold out poster of the race car.
Their May issue will feature a review of the road version of the Type-25.
Litchfield supplied Ford GT breaks 700bhp

Is there a more powerful performance upgrade on the market today?
For a long time now Litchfield Imports have dealt in some of the worlds most spectacular supercars but never before had we been asked to create something this wild.
Working with top suppliers; Powerstation, Roush and Milltek the upgrade features a revised supercharger, Performance exhaust system and reprogrammed ECU.

As official Roush distributors we were perfectly placed to receive technical advice directly from the company that designed the Ford GT’s incredible engine.
Milltek designed a new exhaust system that replaced the factory unit with sports Catalytic converters and a freer flowing silencer. The CATs are the same 100cell high performance items that we use in our Subaru performance packs and have proved extremely effective and durable.
After spending days on the dyno and road refining the ECU calibration the mighty 5.4 litre Supercharged engine’s power had grown from the standard 550bhp to over 700bhp with more to come. Even more incredible was that peak torque had climbed to over 842Nm (621 lbft) with over 600Nm (440 lbft) available from 1,900rpm!
The car drives as docile as standard but when the throttle is opened the acceleration is nothing short of savage and requires all the grip the massive 319/40/19” tyres generate.
Litchfield and Powerstation will be marketing the kit for ÂŁ8,995+vat for those that are brave enough!
Donnington Trackday a massive success
A superb time was had by all as we took our race car to the famous Donnington Park circuit for the day. Amazingly despite all the hard work and dedication that went into our race car last year only Iain and Dirk had briefly sampled it during a magazine feature. The pressures of racing, development and everyday work loads meant that we simply could not find the time. So when we were invited to Donnington by Track Masters (www.track-masters.co.uk) we jumped at the chance.

Phil Keene also turned up to give everyone passenger rides and the infamous Craner Curves will never seem the same again! Despite being surrounded by some truly quick cars on a daily basis no one quite realised just how fast this Spec C was.
As well as some scary passenger rides in the dry Iain and Tim also took the car out just as the rain began fall. Heavy rain, 600bhp and semi slick tyres made for some amusing drift angles.
We look forward to attending more events throughout the year.
