Forester STI on Fifth Gear (Channel 5)

Tonight sees the beginning of a new series of Channel 5's Fifth Gear and either tonight or next week the show should feature the Forester STI. Our demonstrator was hussled around a rain soaked Anglesey Circuit by Vicky Buttler-Henderson and by all accounts she loved it. Although circuit use is hardly the Forester's specialty we'll have to tune in to see just what happened...

MY06 Type 25 update

At last our new Type-25 is finally complete with 2 prototypes doing last minute testing. With the introduction of new EuroIV emission legislation we are just waiting for the new Spec C to complete it's testing. We have achieved EuroIV on the new Forester STI which was tested first and hope to have the Spec C completed very soon. We will be launching a new Type-25 website shortly which will give all the information and much more.

Scoobyshoot 2006

We are proud to support Scoobyshoot 2006 on Sunday 21st May. This will be the first ScoobyNet "Live" event and will be held at Elvington Airfield near York.

We will be on site to give demo laps of MY06 Type25 Spec C and MY06 Type25 Spec C Race Car around the handling circuit.

Time Attack is here!

Litchfield Imports and Powerstation will be taking part in the exciting new Time Attack (www.timeattack.co.uk) race series being held from May to October. This new event will see the very best Tuner cars race for the fastest laptimes around Rockingham and Silverstone circuits.

The initial media/launch is taking place at this years 'Donny' (15th/16th April) car show at Donnington Park GP Circuit. Here the competitors will get a chance to shake their cars down with demo drives around the circuit. The Time Attack Series will run alongside the D1GB National Championship to provide a full-on action packed day of
excitement watching the UK's best tuned
cars and Europe's finest drift drivers.

We have entered our 2005 Tuner GP winning Type-25 Spec C and over the winter it has had a number of improvements made. The car is currently away with our sign writers having new stickers fitted be we hope to update our website this week with more pictures.

Many of our technical partners have helped with new improved parts that should make the race car faster and faster as the year progresses. Aluminum engineering specialist Forge Motorsport have produced a new and improved front mount Intercooler
assembly with larger diameter pipe work which has already shown improvements. On the dyno the car was comfortably able to achieve over 500bhp on Shell Optimax. Throughout the year updates to the car's engine and chassis are expected to give further gains.

Another Impreza STI...

Just to add to the already bewildering array of hot Impreza's we are now able to offer the new European 2.5 Impreza STI SL. This car is also known as the Spec D at UK dealer or as the A-line/Elegance around Europe. We are able to offer this car in either Black or Crystal Grey (Grey only from UK dealers).

2.5 Impreza STI SL - Â£24,995 OTR (Saving Â£3,500)
(Also known across Europe as Spec D, Elegance, & A-line)

As per normal STI but with the following extras:

WRX low rear spoiler
Black leather interior with side airbags
Black dash
Silver Alloys
Front fog lights
Upgraded Sound system
Smart Nav Satellite navigation
Bluetooth Phone kit
Only available in Black or Crystal Grey
We can also supply the car without the upgrade sound system, Smart Nav and Bluetooth phone kit for Â£24,495 OTR

The above comes with Metallic Paint, 3 year Subaru factory warranty, Thatcham Approved Category 1 Alarm and immobiliser system, 12 months road fund license, number plates and pre-delivery inspection. The STI models also include locking wheel nuts. The RAC Trackstar+ Satellite tracking system with built in 'Safe Speed' Speed camera detection is also standard on our STI imports.

MY06 European Impreza STI Performance packs

We offer our own Performance pack upgrades for the MY06 European models. Each upgrade has been carefully tested on both the road and chassis dyno. With the work carried out on the 2.5 Type-25, starting in 2003, we believe there is not a more experienced tuner of the Subaru EJ257 2.5 engine. With the launch of this engine in the new European Impreza range we were quickly able to amend our already proven Performance upgrades to suit the new European models.

Performance Packages upgrades:
MY06 2.5 WRX - 290bhp & 320lbft
MY06 2.5 STI - 340bhp & 340lbft

The performance upgrades we offer for both the MY06 WRX & STI are basically the same but are tuned around each individual car. Our performance pack is successful as it uses our years of experience to improve the way the cars breathes. By concentrating on the engines efficiency and drivability we are able to reprogramme the standard ECU to take full advantage of the upgrades without dramatically increasing boost or engine stress. Each car is setup on our rolling road and a power graph given.

Performance Pack consists of:

K&N Panel filter
3" Stainless steel Milltek Exhaust system with high flow Sports Catalytic converter
ECU Re-Map

Price: Â£1,600 + VAT Fitted (Â£1,880 Including VAT)

Because of our confidence in these upgrades and our relationship with our Subaru distributor we are happy to cover the drivetrain Warranty (Please call for more information).

We also have a range of handling upgrades that we are able to offer for the new Impreza range.
