Exciting times for Litchfield

2008’s big announcement for us is that after 4 years of sharing premises in Northway Industrial Estate, Litchfield is moving to a new larger, purpose built facility. This new site will allow us to offer even higher standards to our customers while leaving plenty of scope for future expansion.

Our new site is not only exciting for us as a growing business but also a wonderful opportunity for our young family. The Litchfield business has been developing and selling sports cars for over 11 years growing year on year and 2007 was our best yet, this new site will give us the flexibility and space to further expand whilst focusing more strongly on our customer care.

Our new location is just a few miles from our current site in the South West and offers easy access from the M5 motorway Junctions of both Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. The new site will offer customers a relaxed and quiet country environment in which to sample our cars and products. Our larger customer and office area is currently being renovated and showroom development beings next week.

The new reception and waiting area will allow customers the chance to see more of our products on display and provide comfortable surroundings to discuss their vehicle requirements.

As usual viewing is by appointment so please call ahead of any visits to make sure we are available as we will be overseeing a number of different projects at the new site.

Relocation sale

To coincide with the move to new premises we have arranged a relocation sale of many of our store room parts. Looking through our stock database and also at the sheer amount of parts we have in stores we decided what better time to have a sale and reduce our inventory. The sale will also make way for the large amount of MY08 Subaru Impreza STI, Nissan and Mazda MX-5 parts we are finishing developing.

Mark2 Type-25+ Power upgrades

With the next version of our top model sometime away we have launched our upgrade options for the Cosworth engine Mark2 models. The 415bhp Type-25 has never been short on power but many customers look for more. These proven upgrades are available in 2 versions:

Stage 1: 440bhp includes installation of large front mounted intercooler, cold air intake, oil catch can and reprogrammed ECU.

£2,300 including VAT and fitting.

Stage 2: 470bhp as stage 1 but also includes new larger Roller Bearing Garrett Turbo, Painted reverse intercooler scoop and oil change.

£4,833 including VAT and fitting.

The Stage one upgrade features no increase in boost pressure but the free flowing intake and intercooler allow the engine to produce more power at higher rpm. The stage one package has no increase in turbo lag but also helps improve engine response.

The Stage two upgrade uses a larger version of the Type-25 Turbo and allows more boost pressure to be maintained at higher Rpm. The reverse intercooler scoop helps draw hot air out of the engine bay and improves intercooler and radiator efficiency.
