MY06 Type 25 update

November saw us attend the huge SEMA aftermarket car show in Las Vegas were we got to meet a number of long standing suppliers and discuss plans for 2006. The show was simply incredible with some amazing show cars and new developments on display.

One of our suppliers and partners in the new Type 25 is Cosworth Inc. Over the last 6 months we have been working closely with this formula1 and Indycar giant on the new Type 25 engine specification.

We were approached by Cosworth USA during the summer as they were working on some new Subaru upgrades (including a 1200bhp drag engine). After sending componets like Spec C heads and cams to the US for analysis we were able to put together a new engine package that has dramatically improved overall engine performance.

We will publish full details on our Type 25 site shortly but to give an indication of the strides made please find below a graph that shows the improvement in exhaust flow with the new Cosworth cylinder heads.

Our first prototype has now completed a number miles with our new engine and suspension setup. Our final turbo specification is in production and we hope to have everything completed shortly.
