This year seems to have sped by faster than ever but what a superb year it has been!
MY2007 Type-25 huge hit with customers and critics alike.
The first MY07 Type-25 owners are already racking up the miles in their new toys and despite a number of them having other exotic cars available it’s the Type-25 keys they keep reaching for.

Evo Magazine recently celebrated their 100 Issue (in shops now) and to mark this landmark they invited some of the fastest cars they have driven to their Bedford Circuit. The Type-25 proved to be not only the quickest 4 door saloon they have ever tested but it also demonstrated it’s incredible pace in direct comparison with some of the worlds most elite supercars.

McLaren F1 - 1:21.20
Ferrari Enzo - 1:21.30
Subaru Impreza Type-25 - 1:22.25
Lotus Exige S - 1:22.40

After Vicki Butler-Henderson enjoyed the Forester STI last year, Channel 5’s Fifth Gear asked to review the Type-25. November saw the Type-25 tearing around Cadwell Park circuit driven by Ex.Touring car champion Jason Plato who really enjoyed it. For those who missed it you can see a copy of the feature on YouTube.com

Our new A-line based MY07 Type-25 demonstrator is available for test drives now!
The Type-25 cemented our fantastic working relationship with Cosworth which we look to continue in 2007 with more exciting projects in the pipeline.
Legacy Model report

After successfully passing the Impreza and Forester STI through the tough Euro emissions testing process we have now turned our attention to the Japanese Subaru Legacy range.
Late November saw us achieve the first emissions status with the Legacy allowing us to import used models from Japan and we hope to have the MY07 models available from early next year. We have already bought a demonstrator and this will be available for test drives from the middle of January.
More information on the superb high performance Japanese Legacy range can be found on our Legacy PageJapanese Subaru models look a Smarter buy
Over the years we have proven the virtues of buying the higher specification Japanese Domestic Models (JDM) but 2007 sees these models become even smarter, safer and secure.

Time Attack Champions and Tuner GP 2006 winners
Our Motorsport year was hugely successful and saw our Type-25 race car fend off strong competition to take the Time Attack championship in an exciting climax to a dramatic season. Full details and videos of each round are available on our website.

Since it’s winning drive the Race Car has now spent more time on the dyno where further improvements have been developed. Power has climbed over the year to run around 600bhp at 7,500rpm on normal Optimax. Not bad considering the Turbo is still producing 522lbft (low boost) at 3,800rpm giving a fantastically wide power band and testament to Powerstation’s mapping and installation skill along with Cosworths superb engineering.
During 2007 there should be a number of Magazine features on the racecar and we hope to decide on next year’s motorsport plan during January.
This year saw us once again enter the Tuner GP event and again we came away with top honors from each of the 3 categories we entered. More details and video are also available on our website
Autosport International 2007

The race car will be on display at the Autosport International show from January Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th. It will take pride of place on AST Suspension’s stand number 8140. Someone from Litchfield’s will be attending the show on most of the days so if you would like a guided tour feel free to call.
Finally, a massive thank you from everyone here for helping make 2006 such a success. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and we looking forward to seeing you in 2007.
