MY06/07 subaru impreza JDM spec C

One of the biggest changes to the new MY06/07 Impreza line up is that the amazing Spec C has become more mainstream without dulling its performance. The Spec C has been further improved following all of testing at places like the Nurburgring. The 2005 Spec C Limited recently set a laptime of 7:59mins around the circuit in standard form! Subaru have made a real effort with the Spec C and this is now homologated for Group N rallying insuring a competitive package straight from the showroom.

The MY06/07 Spec C is much lighter (upto 120kg) than the standard STI with lightweight glass, roof, boot lid etc. It also has:

• 12 Litre Intercooler water spray bottle behind the rear seats for better weight distribution with automatic mode as well as the Manual mode like the UK.
• Roof vent
• The Spec C is fitted with a different radiator, water pump and additional engine & transmission oil coolers for improved cooling under track conditions.
• A Roller bearing version of the Twin Scroll turbo is fitted to the Spec C.
• The Spec C also gets a rear strut brace as standard.

We can now order the Spec C with luxury items like Air-Conditioning, body coloured mirrors and Electric windows which until now were only reserved to the Limited Edition models. It can be ordered in 5 colours to the previous 2 (White & WR Blue).

All Japanese Specification STI Prices include:
Warranty, UK type approval, UK ECU Remap, 155mph Speed limit, Correct Diffsettings, RAC Trackstar, Speed camera detection and CAT 1 Alarm.

16” Spec C does not include Alarm, trackstar or warranty as it is designed for competition use however the price does still include the remap.

Our Impreza Spec C demonstrator arrived in early August 2006(First MY06/07 Impreza in the country) and we have already preformed tests to see what changes have been made and what upgrades we can offer. During last summer we had a number of test carried out for future models and these helped demostrate some of the advantages the Japanese STI and Spec C have over other Impreza models offered around the world. The cylinderhead for example features much larger, better designed valves and ports that allow it to flow more air.

Similar testing has been conducted on cam shafts, exhausts and turbo designs.

New Spec C GP Edition Celebrates success

Work has begun on our new 2007 GP Edition Spec C. It is designed to celebrate our race success throughout 2006 and this year also sees Litchfield importing cars for 10 years. To mark this significant milestone the new GP Edition will feature heavily discounted parts to produce the ultimate driver focused Impreza.

Taking its lead from the concept shown in Subaru's impressive Type RA-R special edition (now sold out) the new GP edition will feature a large number of specialist performance extras from STI mated to our own parts forged in competition success.

To highlight the fact that we can offer both MY07 and older MY06 Spec Cs direct from Japan we will be offering the GP package on both, significantly broadening the price range.
